Construct 5 quality story starters that could be used by others in our Narrative writing of "The Haunted House". Remember to think about the different types of hooks used to engage the audience when you are writing. Happy writing team!
Number 1: The dog trotted away down the road then the noise of a splashing fish and the sound of flapping wings out came the flying piranha.
Number 2: The clock ticked, the floorboards creaked, a mouse squeaked whats wrong with this place.
Number 3: The young girl screamed her little heart out when the dragon like creature swooped down and grabbed her in its claws.
number 4: I was walking in the woods when two ghostly shadows ran on all four legs right in front of me.
Number 5: The happy man walked home after a promotion in his job, as he opened his bedroom he saw the most horrid thing. "oh my god, Marmite what are you doing" "well i'm sleeping with your wife john"
Number 6: Once upon a time a man got a call the caller said "this is a robbery" and loaded his gun. The victim said nothing...
Number 7: One time a guy hated potatoes so much that he was about to stand on it when another guy said "i like trains" then suddenly bang...
